Introducing the Featured Editor!

Mostly, this is just to introduce my new featured editor thing for this blog and for my Tumblr blog.

I've discovered that there are a lot of amazing editors out there who have barely any subs, and I've noticed that they also don't have many friends.

Just because someone doesn't have tons and tons of friends on YouTube, doesn't mean they aren't any good! They're probably just friends with the people who they actually want to talk to! So, I've decided to feature one editor every month for the entire month and the featured video for all my posts will be a video from them. Every few months, I'll just feature videos that I think are really good that deserve more attention.

For now, I'll be starting with editors who don't have many subs that I think deserve more. As this goes, I know I probably won't feature an editor more than once, so I'll have to begin choosing editors who I think are amazing that might not be 'famous', but don't neccessarily have few subs. So, keep a lookout for my featured editors!

Update of Updates [Auditions/Accounts/Requests]

Alright, he's my huge mother update of all updates. So I hope you guys are reading this, because there's a lot happening.

Spring break is here, which means I have time off from school! Of course, Monday is gone, but I have six more days to relax until I have to go back to school. So, I'm finishing up studio projects and whatnot. That means getting cstar7777's Bad Romance MEP part finished up and making my promo for Miracle of Darkness (into which I was accepted). And ShadowDragon1902 is being a sweetheart and getting me her FFVII:CC clips, because mine don't render. So hallelujah that I'll finally be able to turn in my Wedding Dress MEP part.

Now, onto more important things...

Auditions for Coded Deceptions end on April 14th! We have exactly ten auditions right now, and we're letting in four people. So please, share the video with people! Friends/subscribers/subscriptions, anyone! We really appreciate your support and help.
Also with Coded Deceptions, check out our new forum! http://www.codeddeceptions.sendboard.com I'm still figuring out how to manage a forum and all that - I'll probably have to get lessons from Marc, haha. Kudos to Lau for actually joining the forum. Now we have two members! Just waiting on the last two (Rose and Danny *cough cough*).

Also, hopefully auditions for Tears of Hate will be up soon. So please share on to all your friends who are Phantom Phans! I only know like, three people who love it, and two of them are my co-leaders, haha. So, if you know anyone who likes editing live action footage, we'd really appreciate you sharing on to them. I finished the icon for the channel, and it actually turned out pretty good! I'm currently working on the background, but I'm still figuring out how to import brushes and stuff with my new Photoshop, so maybe I'll be able to get an actual pretty background up (unlike the one I made for Allison - check her channel to see it). Wish me luck! I've never made a background with live action stuff before. And so, I'm opening requests and stuff for backgrounds and icons, since I actually know how to make them, haha. Bring it on! Practice makes perfect. Right now, I only have to do the Coded Deceptions background (since the first one turned out... bleh, hahaha), the Tears of Hate background, and one that I can hack Rose with. It's all right - she already knows I'm going to hack her.

I got a Tumlr account! Much to Kelly's pleasure, that is. I know she really wanted me to get one, so I finally gave it and created an account. It'll have all the same things this account here has, except it'll have all kinds of updates involving my writing - originals and fanfics - so if you feel like following around there, here's the link: http://www.thaliaanderson.tumblr.com. On The Road of Recovery

My hiatus is almost over my friends! And that means I can finally work on all the things I've been dying to work on!

First things first, I actually finished an MEP part! "Everybody Knows..." is the second part in Changing Fantasies first MEP! Parts were due yesterday, I believe, but I don't know of anyone else who actually finished theirs... I find it semi-ironic that I was the one who needed the extension, but I might be the only one who actually finished on time.

I'll post a link to the full MEP once it comes out.

Other than that - Strange Pairing MEP parts are due on the twentieth. Which means I have to figure out my gay Vegas and see how it'll handle my .mp4 OHSHC clips for my Tamaki/Namine pairing. And the Aeries' MEP part for Zodiac! is due the twenty-first, though I have an extension for that as well, which I'll probably most definitely need. Thanks to JJ for actually getting back to me about that - I still don't know what cstar7777 thinks about me not being able to get my part in on time; they never contacted me.

New video series coming up soon!

My new series, "Leslie's Story" will make its appearance soon. I finished the first one shot that goes with the series, so I'll post that up here when the video comes out. I'm really excited for LS, which I don't say about many things I write. So keep an eye out for it!

Starting a New Month

Hey everyone, how have you been? I know I'm pretty terrible at finding time to update this thing, but I'll try and be better.

For anyone who follows my little problem story, the reason I haven't been doing much is because of my back. It's not getting better, so hopefully I can go back to the doctor on Friday and get a muscle imbalance test, but if that's not what's wrong, then we'll be at a complete loss. I'm just hoping it's nothing... well, serious.
Plus, now there's this weird lump in my neck/chest area, and we're going to get that checked out as well. Pray that it's nothing serious, all right? I really don't need more problems right now.

Anyway, I'm keeping myself busy with my MEP parts, which I will not tell you about all over again, like I have previously. I'll just tell you about the new stuff (or the stuff I don't remember telling you about before) and any other random update-type crap, with my usual random advertisements at the end.

As a random note, the Wedding Dress MEP for Never Forgetting Memories got extended, mostly because of me, I think, because just as I finished my part on the due date, I went to render it, and none of my Crisis Core clips rendered. So... I sadly discovered that only the all-CG clips from Crisis Core will render in my new Vegas (at least from bluelaguna) and I will have to redownload all of those clips and then exchange the bluelaguna clips for the YouTube clips. Which is alright, because there's a Crisis Core walkthrough in HD lying around somewhere that I can use. Sadly, this will also effect my ability to get in my WORM part for Rose on time, since my pairings were Zack/Yuna and Tidus/Aerith, so I will obviously need those Zack clips. And my pairing for Wedding Dress was Cloud/Aerith/Kadaj, and I really need the in-game clips of Aerith for my awesome-sauce masking that isn't masking, because it's chroma keyer.

You get the gist of it.

Anyway, that also means that I won't be able to do what I originally wanted to for my sub video for you guys (these Zack pairings will all be the death of me), so I'm making something else for all you lovely people. I actually hit a hundred and fifty subscribers (thanks to Darrel's backup account, hah), so I'm trying extra hard to crank something out, especially before the auditions for Lauren and Jess's new studio are over! Sorry it's taken me nearly a hundred more subs to actually make you guys something. I feel terrible!

One of these days... Rose and I will start our awesome collab we have planned... But it's going to have to be when neither of us have anything we have to do, and at the rate we sign up for MEPs, that'll never happen, haha.

February - Come and Gone

Geez, I'm sorry for not posting anything all February! Things have been quite hectic - which is also my excuse for not uploading much this year. Unless you count an MEP part, an IC, and a full MEP. No full vids, or even betas!

Though I do have exciting news! Kelly [KellliiiBellliii], Rhi [HopefulFlowerfield] and I are making a Phantom of the Opera studio! It's called "Tears of Hate Productions" [http://www.youtube.com/user/TearsofHateProducts] (Erika is making us a background! [00ProphecyStudios00] I know that a lot of you probably won't be excited at all for it, but the three of us are absolute psyched, so you should feel happy for us anyway, hah. Hopefully, the three of us will have audition videos up soon, but in case you want to start working now, these are the rules:
--Advanced programs ONLY (WMM, etc. - even experts - are not allowed, due to screen size and etc.) Sony Vegas, After Effects, etc.
--30 seconds and above. But don't go overboard. Try and keep it below five minutes. We'd much rather have a really awesome short video than a rushed longer vid. You will not be docked for the length of your audition.
--Yaoi/yuri is NOT allowed. Besides, for Phantom, it'd be strange anyway, considering the only thing you could really do is Phantom/Raoul. Unless you wanted to pair Firmin and Andre together, but that's also weird, because they're both married.
--Please either choose a pairing (Raoul/Christine, Phantom/Christine) or a character focus on one of the three main characters, unless you can highlight a minor character nicely (for instance, Madame Giry).
--PHANTOM OF THE OPERA 2004 MOVIE FOOTAGE ONLY. If you need footage, please contact Kelly, as she has clips that you can most likely use.
--NO hentai or anything that isn't PG-13. Don't know how you'd do it anyway, considering the footage limitations.
--NO slideshows.
--A new video is preferred, no older than a month from the released audition video that I will be posting.
--One entry per person.
--Do not watermark you videos, as we will only actually be looking at the editors after we have chosen the best videos. Being a friend to any of the three judges (aka, me, Kelly, and Rhi) will not improve your chances of making it into the group.
--MEP/WORMs ARE allowed, as long as they follow the other rules, including no watermark.
--Any song can be used (none with explicet content/language/rap. We have to be able to understand the emotion you're conveying with the video)
--Your own work. If we find you've stolen a video, we will remove and report your video immediately.
--List your first and second character rep. choices. Characters obviously must be from Phantom.

As some of you may know, my back has been really bad again lately. I'm not allowed to sit up for very long at all, and I have tons of make up work. The second semester has been in session almost three weeks now, and I've only been to class three days. So, I have a lot to do to make sure I can pass all my classes this grading period. I'm doing all I can to get better again, but not much is helping, as the x-rays I took apparently show nothing is wrong with my stucture. We'll see. But that obviously means I won't be able to work on videos very often. I will be finishing my MEP parts, but I'm sorry if your birthday is in the coming months and I'm unable to make you something in time. I can almost guaruntee yokosen that her video will be late, because of the timing of my sudden injuries and her birthday being this week, and I'm really sorry. But I also promise that anyone's birthday that I miss due to my back, I will make it up to you in time. I just can't say that the video will be up on your birthday, or somewhere near, but I WILL make a video for you at some point.

I almost have a hundred and forty subscribers! I'm so sorry I haven't gotten anything for you guys yet, mostly due to my back, but I will make something! I know I've been saying that since I had like, sixty subs, but I promise you! I actually know what I'm making and I've started working on it, so please expect it soon. I'll let you know now that the video I'm planning will be a crack pairing - to the extreme (there's only one video for them so far, but it's not the reason I like the pairing) and the story will be LONG. I'll have it posted on a forum for you to read. I ask that you read the actual story, but I will also summarize the happenings as briefly as possible. The actual story will be MUCH BETTER, which is why I ask that you read it anyway.

As for group projects...
Less Than Three Productions (aka, Unknown Studios) is still hosting the Insanity MEP. I'm sorry to Shojappy for my lateness with my part due to my back. I hope that I can make it up to her and the studio.

Never Forgetting Memories had the Wedding Dress MEP. Danny and I haven't turned in our parts yet, due to personal reasons for the both of us. He's been feeling really stressed lately, so if you can drop him a note or something, it'd be great.

The AMV Maker Army's 'Fragile Strength' MEP is finally kicking off! I've handed out all the parts now, but as Danny was in the MEP, I'll have to contact him and ask if he still wants to do it, of if I should give it to someone else. Marc (MarcFirewing2) has already finished both his parts, so I hope he doesn't mind if I ask him to take over Danny's, worse comes to worst.

I'm in a new studio! Zodiac Studios is planning our first MEP, based on the Aries' sign. Hopefully, we'll have it out soon. It'll be feauturing mostly all our characters, as we're trying to make the videos as realistic as possible. Because our leader is the first sign, we're using her character, Lightening, as the main character for this MEP. I'm actually really excited for this group. And not just because one of my favorite editors of all time is in it with me, haha. I guess it feels more... real than other studios I'm in that aren't really doing anything, or the MEPs don't have stories and are just videos, while ZS is way different. Every video has a story and a meaning, and we're incorporating the signs in every way we can. For instance, our Aries' MEP will have a red theme, because the Aries' color is red.

I have an Leon/Aerith MEP part for remrem95 due soon... It actually has no due date, but seeing as I was given the part back in November, I figure I should finish soon, hah.

I'm also in the crack pairing MEP! My pairing is Tamaki/Namine, though I'm not sure if my Ouran clips still work, seeing as all my other .mp4 files haven't worked since I have my new Vegas (I've had to redownload everything), so I'll have to check and see if I have to redownload them, too. csstar7777 is the host.

Last, but not lease, I'm in Rose's Leona Lewis WORM. My song is "Bleeding Love" ft. Jesse McCartney. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, but I have a month to figure it out, haha.

Random note:
Bittersweet Lullaby Productions has been transformed.
The new name is "Coded Deceptions". Rose and I decided the words 'bittersweet' and 'lullaby' were used too often in studio titles, so we went for a whole new angle. I'm hoping to have an audition for that out soon, as well, and I hope that you guys will like our new look as much as we do.

The New Year!

Oh geez, it's been too long since I updated this thing, hasn't it?

Well, it's 2010 everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted a new year's video or anything! I feel terrible about it! I promise I'll have something for you guys' up soon.

Well, projects? I know you want to hear about them. Currently, my focus is the MEP in Divinity of Oath Studios. I'm nearly done with my part. That's due on January 25th.

Unknown Studios is still hosting that Drove Through Ghosts MEP, and I haven't been able to start my part yet! I have the greatest section of the entire song, and I'm really excited to start working on it! Oh my heavens, it just thrills me that I'll finally be able to edit a 65daysofstatic song. I'm hoping to finish by the end of this month, or early February.

Never Forgetting Memories has an Evil Angel MEP. My part is going to be Leon/Aerith, which is convinient (sp?) since Yunarella's part is directly before mine and is Aerith-centric. So, I'll know which clips to leave off so I don't reuse anything. That'd look funny, haha. The due date for this one is February 1st, I believe.

Also for Never Forgetting Memories is a Wedding Dress MEP for Valentine's Day. The theme we were given is love triangles. So, naturally I went all crack on everyone and chose Cloud/Aerith/Kadaj. Because I adore Kadaj/Aerith and I never get to make anything for it, hah. The due date for this is the obvious February 13th, but we haven't recieved our parts yet.

The AMV Maker Army is planning our revival MEP! Yunarella and I have been working a lot on the storyline and such and we're hoping to get it up sometime in the near future. Hopefully in February. It really depends on how many people sign up for it. We're not contacting members, so you'll have to check the forum if you want to sign up!

I'm planning Juul's birthday video! I heard a new song, and I instantly thought of him. I don't care if his birthday is in June, I just really want to be sure it's on time, and the idea is eating away at me, so I'll be getting started ASAP on that! I'm so excited!

On other birthdays, I'm still working on Allison's, Flower's, and 12ang45's birthday videos, despite what they may think, haha. I'm making full videos, so it's taking me awhile to get through all of them with the other MEPs I have to concentrate on. I'm sorry it's taking so long, you guys! Please bear with me as I try to finish them in a decent amount of time!

Lastly, I reached a hundred subscribers on my birthday! I didn't know that my wish would actually come true, considering I wished for it on the twentieth, and on the thirtieth, I got eleven subscribers! Holy crap, you guys! Thank you so much for the support these last seven months. I really appreciate it! I have something planned for you, but you understand how long it'll take, what with my other stuff. But as soon as I finish my MEP parts, I'll make you something! I love you guys so much!

One last note - my computer crashed last weekend. So right now, I don't have Vegas. I have everything transferred onto a laptop right now, but I can't edit videos. I'm trying to find the disc in my house, but as of now, I haven't seen it anywhere, and I'll probably have to rebuy it. Wish me luck! I'm so sorry. For this reason, I have had to drop out of the Worthless Smiles BBT. I'm terribly sorry! I was so looking forward to competing, considering I had to drop out of the last BBT I was in due to very personal reasons. These things always happen to me, though. I appreciate my studios waiting on me. I seem to always have problems and such - something that sets me back.

Bittersweet Lullaby Productions is undergoing a name change. Rose and I decided that there were too many 'bittersweet' or 'lullaby' studios. We're taking on a whole new image and will be uploading new auition videos. For anyone who already auditioned on either of our videos, we will carry your auditions over, unless you notify one of us and want to reaudition. Hopefully this new idea we're taking on will be one of a kind, as we haven't seen anything like what we're thinking yet.

Almost 2010

Wow! It's almost a new year. And with the new year, comes a new year for me. That is, one year older. I'll be fifteen on December 30th! Along with dear DannyDomoSan. Be sure to wish him a happy birthday!

It's been a little while since my last update. My back is slowly and steadily getting better, which is nice, which also means that I can work on videos more and more often. I feel terrible that I wasn't able to participate in several MEPs/WORMs, but it honestly couldn't be helped. I'm just happy that I'm getting back on track with some collabs.

I've been slaving almost all day on my collab with DannyDomoSan, "See Who I Am". But out of working all day, I just reached the first verse about an hour ago. Yes, I've been working all day on that thirty second introduction. It's probably the hardest thing I've done in awhile. But I explained this to Danny, but I'm a perfectionist and have OCD when it comes to my videos. I can't upload something half-baked. So, I'm killing myself over it, trying to make it the best it can be. Plus, I'm trying to redeem myself from the crappy AMV I made with "See Who I Am" back when I used WMM. I mean... it was terrible. So, this is my way of apologizing to myself. Therefore, it has to be perfect.

Other than that, I'm also working on a quick collab with Rose, that was meant to be for Christmas. She called me on the 23rd and said, "Hey, let's do a Christmas collab!" You have to forgive me for being late with it, because it's the most freaking chroma keyer I've ever done in one video, and the coloring is hard to work with. So, hopefully I'll finish up the last part and upload it before the new year.

Last project, my "Drove Through Ghosts to Get Here" MEP for Unknown Studios. The parts are due New Year's Eve, but I talked to the owner, and she said it was fine that I'm late because of my back stuff. So, that'll be the first thing I finish in January. I've been dying to make a video with that song, so when she took my suggestion and made it the group's first project, I was ecstatic. Then bummed that I couldn't finish on time. So, I'll do my absolute best on that part! And thanks to her, for letting me rest up!

Other than that stuff, January will mostly be dedicated to my other collab with ChasingReality2009 - our Pendragon trailer. We've been planning it for awhile now, and we agreed to let January be our month to work on it. It's such a major project, we need to work in order, back and forth with each other to make it look good. Meaning, I'll have to do the first thirty seconds, send it to her, wait for her part before I can work on the next part. It'll be crazy, but worth it. Plus, it'll probably be a project that takes us months. We want it to look good, so we'll be working like mad on it in January. So that, and a couple studio audition videos will be taking up most of my time in January, plus the few MEPs I participate in (Evil Angel for Never Forgetting Memories).

Bittersweet Lullaby Production's auditions end on January 15th! Rose and I don't want to have to make extentions, so please audition if you have a chance! And if you have time, please send it out to some of your friends. We'd appreciate it! Thank you!

Um, my back is worse.

That is, worse than it's ever been.
Ever.
In my history of back pain.

Honestly, I'm now at a loss of what to do about it. All I'm really doing is putting a heat patch on every day and then, nothing makes it feel better. So... don't expect very many videos. Like I said, Allison's birthday video and my Christmas video are probably all I can pop out this month.

Actually, that's a lie. Maybe those will be late too. Because now, something's come up, and I'm dropping everything to work on a new video.

As a lot of you might know, we lost a dear friend on Sunday. Maddie (Pokeycookiex3) died in a car accident. I didn't know her very well, but I was in a few studios with her and she was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I'm taking it pretty hard myself, so I can't imagine how the people who were really close to her must feel like right now. I'm dumping all projects right now and making a video for her, because she deserves that. I've looked on her page a few times and I've noticed people are unsubscribing to her. I don't think I could ever do that. Maybe I'm just hoping it's all a misunderstanding and she'll upload something saying, "Sorry for the accident! I'm alright!" Maybe I just don't have the heart to press that button. I don't know anymore.

Anyway, I'm making a dedicatin video to her with all her friends in it. Once again, I don't know how many people read this, if any. But I have to say something. I'll miss her. I don't care if it kills me, I will finish a full video for her.

Visit her page and leave a note or something. Somebody will read it. A family member, a friend, anyone. They'll feel the warmth of your comments.

For people I know in real life - I don't know if I'll be as "Thalia-ish" as I normally am because I've been really thrown off-guard. I don't want to talk about it, because every time I mention it at all, I start to cry. Um, so... I want to apologize ahead of time for my probably-going-to-be non-talkative behavior. I'm just... drained. Physically, and now emotionally.

Plus, there's some family stuff going on right now that I'd rather not mention to anyone. But, that's been bugging me. I won't go into real detail on it right now, but if it gets worse, I'll let you guys know. Considering it could seriously effect my behavior. I just don't know right now.

Pain (Again)

So, most of you know by now that my back pain has struck again. Well, it's back (haha, a pun) again, due to extra pressure I've been taking by carrying three textbooks, two notebooks, and a binder to three classes in my backpack at school for the last month or so. I don't have time to stop at my locker between classes, so I've been carrying everything with me for the past little while. It finally caught up with me, so now I'm not able to even walk without lots of pain.

Fun, right?

Anyway, my two main projects to finish right now are 1) my Christmas video and 2) Allison's birthday video, since it's already late as it is. I have permission from most of the groups I'm in to be late with MEP/WORM parts because I can't work on videos very often right now. At least, the ones I've heard back from have told me that it's fine, and the people who haven't contacted me about it yet will just have to deal, since I'm not going to be able to do it. Considering the only one that really Christmas-y is the LoveLight Production WORM, which I'll do my best to complete on time.

So, other than that, I'm doing fine, haha. Expect things from me soon! Maybe.

I promised myself I'd update at least once a week, so here I am again. I'm beginning to wonder how many people actually read this. But I suppose it doesn't matter, since it really just helps me keep my head on straight with all the projects I'm working on.

Once again, Allison's birthday video is on HOLD. And her birthday is Sunday. Ugh! Maybe I'll have to end up doing what I didn't want to do, which would suck and probably ruin everything. But if it all comes down to it, I'll do what I have to to go with my plan. And only Rose will know what I'm talking about!

MEPs on top of that. Divinity of Oath Studios (http://www.youtube.com/group/divineoath2) will be starting an MEP, that'll be due... Christmas or a little after, I believe. Christmas Time!

It's December! Which means Christmas is coming! Which means, tons of new projects!

First off, Allison's (TearWorkshop) birthday is the thirteenth! Everything is on hold until I get her birthday video finished. I hope she'll like it. I'll be working like crazy on it until I finish it, and I'll probably be putting just as much effort into it as I did for my "Demon" video (which is TONS). But, there are some other things I have to get done to start working on it, so it'll be at least another day or so until I can actually finish. It'll be a long process, and sadly, her present won't probably be ready until after her birthday. I'm sorry, Allison! I'm doing the best I can! Really!

Secondly, the AMV Maker Army is hosting a Secret Santa project that I'm mostly in charge of, so I'll be doing a lot of work with that this month. I'm hoping I can get more members to participate - it seems everyone so far is really busy. Maybe it'll turn into a New Year's Eve project or something. And with that is a wishlist for Never Forgetting Memories. Kill two birds with one stone, right?

Lastly, I have an MEP part due, as well. An Ouran Christmas part, to be exact. Yes, heaven help me. You can find AangelProduction's video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi8LMf2RGSE). I'm part thirteen, so you can image the horror I will be going through - considering the only anime clips I have/are familiar with are my Ouran episodes. Wait... maybe I can do Monster Buster Club! What if I Made a {M I S T A K E}

My description is much too long to post on the video itself, so here it is.

This is my Faith value project for my church. I had to complete a visual project demonstrating my faith in Jesus Christ. I chose to make a video, with a song by an LDS singer.

Some of you may know (others may not) that I'm a Mormon. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm LDS. I'm very proud of it. If you hate religion, or hate my religion, or want to flame me or this video - just go away. This is what I believe in, and no matter what anyone ever says, I'll always know in my heart that it's true. Every last word of it.

Anyway, this is a reupload. I pretty much put everything I had into this video. I cried several times while making it. I'm a strong believer in my faith. I really and truly am. And I've been yelled at, threatened, persecuted, and made fun of for what I believe in. There are thousands of people around the world who spend all their time trying to disprove the Book of Mormon. I'm here today to tell you whatever they say are lies. I swear to everyone reading this, and even those who aren't/won't that the Book of Mormon is a second testament of Jesus Christ. I'd die on that promise. If someone held a gun to my head and told me they'd take it away if I said it wasn't true, I'd let them shoot me.

For anyone who doesn't know what the Book of Mormon is or who Joseph Smith is, I'll fill you in right now.

Joseph Smith was a fifteen-year-old boy in 1820. He was confused about which church to join, and which of them were the true church. He read in James 5:1. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Joseph prepared and went into the Sacred Grove to pray to the Father about which of the churches were the right church and which he should join. Suddenly, an overwhelming darkness gripped Joseph and pulled him down - suffocating him. He couldn't breathe. Then, a pillar of light descended on him, and the darkness was gone. Above him, were standing the Father and the Son. God and Jesus Christ.

God said, "This is my Beloved Son. Hear Him."

Jesus proceeded to tell Joseph that none of the churches were right, and that he would be the one to restore the one and true church of Christ to the earth. The church that had been lost when the apostles were killed.

Joseph was visited again by an angel several years later. The angel Moroni. He led Joseph to the Hill Cumora, in which the Plates of Brass were buried. Joseph spent 60 days, using the Urim and Thummin, translating the Book of Mormon from Egyption into English, with the help of two other men. Joseph brought it forward from the power of God and he was able to restore the gospel to the earth.

Peter, James, and John appeared to Joseph and the two men helping him (Oliver Coudry (sp) and Martin Harris) and betowed the priesthood keys to them - the priesthood Jesus and the apostles had used. These are keys no other church has.

Joseph Smith had a hard life. He and the followers of the church were run out of many cities and towns, threats and other dangers all around them. Joseph was tarred and feathered and the lives of his wife and children and himself were threatened daily.

Finally, the people who hated Joseph so finally captured him, and put him and his brother, Hyrum, into Carthage jail. There, they were shot and murdered. Before Joseph was shot, he bore his testimony to the guard watching them, of the power of the church and the Lord Jesus Christ. He died on that word.

Joseph Smith and his brother, Hyrum Smith, were martyrs.

Now, would a man who was a liar and a cheater die for that lie? Would he know he would face God in a matter of minutes for judgement, and lie straight to the face of a man? A liar and cheater would have denied the book, saying it was false and beg for his life to be spared.

Joseph Smith was no liar.

For anyone curious about the Book of Mormon, you can get free copies anywhere - the church gives them out. You can be sent a copy. Please - read it. If I had one wish, I'd just want someone to read the Book of Mormon, and feel that Holy spirit when you're done and while you read that tells you it's true. I've felt that spirit many times reading the Book of Mormon - I know it's true. I don't believe it's enough to say you believe in Jesus Christ. You need to act on that belief and show that you believe it. Show it through your actions. Show it through the way you live and speak.

It's Been Awhile

Wow, it's been a looooong time. Sorry about that everyone.

Not too many updates. I'm finally finished with the bulk of the MEPs and WORMs I'd signed up for. Now all I have to do is finish up my Thanksgiving video and the new emotions WORM yokosen is hosting for Whispering My Shadows Studios. My emotion is pride (the good kind, however), and I'll be using "Unbreakable" by Fireflight, which will be fun.

...No, I'm not telling anyone what I'm doing for the Thanksgiving video.

Other than that, I have three collabs, one with Natasha (natasha242) with "Gothic Angel" by Avril Lavinge and Evanescence. It makes me feel better than since I haven't done anything for it, neither has she. Then another with Lau (Narutochaos22) with "Bring Me to Life", that we decided to... well, bring back to life, since we changed songs before. And lastly, one with Rose with "Aren't We All Running" by 65daysofstatic, which I hope will be the most epic thing I have ever done. I'm super excited for that one, since it's for a book series we both love, using characters from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts to represent the characters in the book.

I'm only sad that we're going to have to kill Mark, since he's represented by Zack. And Pence, but that's a different matter.

Sadly, I'm not on my normal computer, so I don't have my awesome lists for the end of this entry. Ugh. Sorry. Next post, I'll have it all up again.

Just Another Day in Fluville

HOLY ILLNESS, BATMAN.

Seriously, I am so freaking sick, it's not even funny. Mehhh. I'm just completely miserable, and have to be forced to eat anything from the time I get home from school to the time I wake up. I know I have to eat at school otherwise Alix is just going to get on my case for not eating anything. (ILU Alix) Anyway, that's going on, and mainly what's happening with me.

Besides that... nothing much.

I got to watch General Conference on Saturday and Sunday, which, for those who don't know, is a worldwide broadcast from Utah of the General Authorities of the LDS church gather and speak to us, giving us counsel and things like that. There are over 3 million people who watch General Conference the four days it happens every year, two days in October, and two days in April. It was great and very moving. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave an amazing testimony of the Book of Mormon and how true it is. Seriously, I was moved nearly to tears watching it. I mentioned it today in my church class at school (Seminary), and Brother Allen (name changed for safety reasons) played the video clip of it for everyone to see it again, mostly for those who had maybe missed it. I almost started crying right there in class. Now, it could have been due to the fact that I couldn't breathe because mucas was filling my entire head making me want to explode. However, I'm pretty sure the strength of his testimony was what was making me feel that way. : )

New Blog for Updates!

Whoa! So... I decided to just set up a blog. But not for personal purposes. Just so I don't have to have those dumb updates clouding up my YouTube profile. So, yes, this is just meant for the sole purpose that anyone who views my YouTube page and might wonder what the crap happened to me if I suddenly disappear for a long time... well, knows what happened. All my updates will be posted here from now on. Make sure to check! I'll post on my YouTube page when I update. But still be sure to check for any updates that might relate to me not being able to get online for a while, or something. For safety purposes, everyone's who I know personally in real life (including my own name) are being changed. No stalkers are going to get to us! *huzzah pose* The first time I mention somebody, I'll add their username (if they have one), so you can subscribe to them. Because all my friends are awesome!

Uh, updates for today...

So... I'm sick. Blehhhh. Not normal sick though. It's like a knife is being wrenched around in my stomach every time I do anything. *grumbles* I think life must hate me or something. Because the only way it doesn't hurt is if I'm doubled over... which makes my back hurt more. Stupid illness are mobbing meeeee! Therefore, sitting down, checking comments, messages, and writing in this update is killing me inside and out. But I thought everyone deserved to know why I wouldn't be around. Personally, I think it's due to too much freaking stress (I'm under a lot of it). But... who knows?

Anyway, technical stuff! I've got a lot of MEPs and a couple collabs (sorry to Rose {ChasingReality2009} and Natasha {natasha242}!) that I've been procrastinating on. I have to get a download somewhere for the AMVMA MEP part, which won't download for me that's due Oct. 11. Plus a promo for NFS that I told myself I would have done by Oct. 10th. ALSO, NFS MEP part due Oct. 11 as well. AND, I made it into round two of Sea Salt Ice Cream Beta Tournie! That's due Oct. 13.Good luck to my opponent, and good friend: ThePureHeartSora! I know they're gonna pwn me so badly.

PS - For Halloween, I'm gonna be Yuna! I just bid on her necklace, which I've been dying for, and found a handmade costume for fifty dollars that includes shipping! It's going to be customed too, which is always nice. Don't know how I'll manage her hair thingy though, considering I don't have pierced ears at all. Eh. My sister-in-law knows a place that converts earrings to clip-ons. So... Alix (TearWorkshop) is going to be Luffy (One Piece) and I'm going to be Yuna... who's Rose gonna be? Man, what a crack cosplay group this will be. But I guess it's more professional than the Alix - Vampire, Thalia - Ben Tennyson, Rose - Marluxia thing we had going on last year. I got hugged by seven-year-old boys who look up to Ben as their hero last year! It was awesome and adorable!
